Bio

Jeffery Prest was born in Kitimat BC. He was raised in Victoria and Mill Bay on Vancouver Island. It was in Duncan  that Jeff learned wood carving from his two best friends, Kieth Jimmy from Duncan and Robert Rufus from Kingcome Inlet. Presently Jeff is most inspired and influenced by his good friend Clerance Dick from Songhees in Victoria.

Jeff has worked as a commercial fisherman and on an oyster farm out of Tofino. He now labours summers out of Ucluelet on a commercial drag boat. In the winter months, Jeff works on his carvings and also as a drywall finisher in Victoria BC.
