Crab

Crab (ma-sook) was in the shallow waters when eagle (yux-wo-la) flew over. In awe the crab watched and said "I want to Fly" . The creator heard ma-sook and ma-sook went to the mountain, at day break he bathed and prayed at day break. He did this for days and when he felt ready, Ma-sook went back to the bay in Nanaimo. Here he recieved a massage from creator,"Bury yourself in the sand at low tide. When eagle comes to the beach to feed, reach up and grab a feather." this he did, he when the eagle can to the beach he watched until close enough to reach and grab on to a feather, as he held on he lifted out of the sand until the feather released. Crab was never able to fly because he stole....he did not ask. A pure feather will be found when breaking open the crab's pincher."  - Mel good -
