The majestic feathers of a bold eagle are Showcased in beautiful variations of color that old growth cedar brings with distinguished hues of browns, reds and golds.  Using real feathers as an inspiration and to model from, Ucluelet BC. wood carver Peter Lewadnuk thinly carves and enhanses each feather with detailed feather pattern and texture. These free standing works of art are carved intricately on both sides. The carving stands in a natural driftwood base and has a lacquer finished to protect the wood from drying or absorbing moisture.
