Fishers & Foreshores Canada's West Coast
"I am one of many whose souls are touched by the ever-changing moods of the west coast. The sights, sounds, scents and feel of this place are magical. At 72, I'm on the beach every day and feel fortunate to be there. I was raised with nature. My Dad, a game warden, taught me to look. My Mom, an artist, taught me to see.
A self taught photographer, I use FUJI film. I take full frame photos, make no computer enhancements, and wait for the results. In the mid 1980s, with the help of neighbours and friends, I developed a photo card line called Country Focus. This venture has a life of its own, and has inspired this book.
Fishers and Foreshores represents some of the ever-changing moods - wild, wonderful and peaceful - of an amazing place. I wish I could just add the music of the sea." Mary Christmas
