Hare
Lighthearted and carved specifically with a sense of play, Pender Island, BC wood carver, Dan Steadman, had fun creating movement and personality in this running hare. Dan enjoyed the challenge of chainsaw carving details such as free floating limbs and ears. The finer details as on the face are carved using hand tools.
