Hand Pressed Print on Locally Sourced BC Wood

Inspired by natural the beauty of Western Vancouver Isalnd, Allison uses carving textures and subject matter that translate into her impression of what is beautiful and simple in nature.

Each image is created by carving a soft rubber pad, rolling ink onto it and pressing wood veneer to the block. The result is exciting, surprising, and expressive. Each piece is unique and slightly differs from the others.
