Hummingbird - two wings

This yellow cedar Hummingbird, both wings open wide and suspended in flight, is hand carved by Snaw-naw-was First Nation artist and master carver, Brian Bob. Brian used abalone shell for the eye and on the wings. Finished with a warm brown stain, the wood grain is visible. The Hummingbird is a legendary icon believed to be a messenger of joy, love and healing.
