Killer Whale

This impactful hand carved and stained yellow cedar Killer Whale with abalone was carved by Snaw-naw-as Nation artist Brian Bob. The body contains the head of Salmon, illustrating how the fish's Spirit transforms into Killer Whale as it provides the whale with food. The Circular Way of Life inspires Brian, and he communicates this through his carvings.
