Embellished with real sockeye salmon teeth, this hand and chainsaw carved maple salmon, by Pender Island artist, Dan Steadman, carries the face of man within it, symbolizing the symbiotic relationship between man and nature. Man is dependent on nature for food, water, and shelter while nature is dependent on man to protect it.
