Glazed to resemble the reflection of sunlight on the body of a whale swimming in the ocean, pottery sculptor Gale LaPorte of Errington, BC uses the cultivated process of raku firing to create her inspirations.  Many years of experiencing the effects of the creative exchange between fire, smoke, glaze, and water have cumulated in an art she enjoys sharing through each of her exceptional creations.
