Hand Carved Brazilian Soapstone Sculpture

Sea of love is a whimsical moment caught in time by Port Alberni, BC carver John McInnis. It is a beautiful hand carved sculpture of a mother sea otter and her pup. John has transformed the brown Brazillian soapstone in to a tranquil piece of the sea, where these sea otters are comfortly afloat. Details on the two otters have been hand engraved to create the appearance of fur and whiskers.
