Sea Otter Heart
A sea otter comfortabley lays back, relaxing in his natural habitat of the Pacific West Coast kelp beds, off the coastline of Vancouver Island. The sea otter drawing on this hand carved soapstone heart has been inscribed into the stone surface. Black ink is used for added contrast and definition. Artist Liisa McInnis has a love for animals that is often expressed through her artwork.
