Coast Salish carver Brian Bob carves a signature flower within his hummingbird wood carvings, representing the interconnectedness of all things. The circular way of life. The flower is interdependent on the hummingbird for pollination and in turn, the hummingbird drinks of it's nectar for nourishment and energy.

On the west coast for many people, hummingbird is a symbol of joy, love and healing.
