Here is a rare, large jewelry box handcrafted from reclaimed arbutus wood on Mayne Island BC by wood worker Robert Andrews. The rich, smooth finish enhances the warm reds seen in arbutus. Hand carved contours follow the grain, gently blending form and design with the soft contrast of natural spalting.

Two large removable and interchangeable sorting trays add organizational space. One tray has eleven small compartments for rings and earrings along with three elongated compartments for bracelets, pendants and necklaces.
Compartments range from 1 1/4" x 1 1/2" up to 5 3/4" x 2 3/4" and are 3/4" deep

The second tray hosts three larger compartments 1 1/2" deep and ranging in size from 3 3/8" x 7 1/2" to 5 3/4" x 7 1/4".
There is an open 2" deep faux fur covered bottom area that is perfect for larger items and boxes. Interior dimensions are 13 1/2" - 14 1/2" long x 8 1/4" wide and 5 " deep.

Each tray is covered in a brown velvet flock.
The surface of the bottom of this box is covered with soft leather for furniture protection.
