The surf is high and the westerly winds are strong on this wild and stormy day on Chesterman Beach with Lennard Island Lighthouse in the distance.
It is stormy days like this that give inspiration to Tofino artist Ursula Banke for painting waves and the essence of a tempestuous day on the west coast.
