The Wild Side Trail is Ucluelet's greatest attraction. It offers fantastic views of waves crashing onto rocky outcrops as the Pacific ocean surges in, and is a great place to witness storms. The trail provides hours of spectacular walking. You might see deer, river otters, seals and sea lions, bald eagles and many other birds. If you're lucky, orcas or grey whales might be seen in the water. This rugged landscape is ruled by nature; keep to the path to be safe. Many artists come here and are inspired and moved to expression.
