"My name is Luke Lindenbach. 

Growing up on in Campbell River on Vancouver Island I began whittling wood after receiving my first pocket knife for my 10th birthday. My early collection included carved pointed sticks and small wooden animals.

10 years later, I received another birthday gift; a chisel set and from there, power tools.

I enjoy carving local Vancouver Island wood species such as red and yellow cedars, pine, and maple.

My favourite sculptural themes are whales, fish, bears and birds
