Bio
Peggy Arnett is a painter of light, describing her experiences in paint as she moves through the world 'from astonishment to astonishment.
Each area of her work is interesting in itself, her painted marks are both representational and abstract creating relationships between diverse elements providing the viewer with a rich visual experience.
Peggy began her artistic practice in childhood and has continued her journey through many workshops, a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts), studio practice and mural painting. A past member of the Alberta Society of Artists she now serves on the Board of the Pacific Rim Arts Society and lives in her small studio in Ucluelet BC.
The highlight of her practice is the opportunity to work and share with other artists and to have great conversations with people in studio, gallery and on the trails.
