Bio

A West Coaster from birth, Rob has always had a love and talent for painting.

As a young man he spent time working on commercial fishing boats and was deeply inspired by the ocean. Rob spent his early adulthood honing his craft and by 30 years old he was fully employed creating art; airbrushing, etching glass, and painting everything from portraits to murals.

In 2007, Rob travelled to Paris to unveil a painting, handpicked by Lockheed Martin, representing Canada in the F35 Lightning Project.

Today, Rob lives with his wife, Audrey, and two beautiful daughters in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. He can be found in his studio capturing light, shadow, and atmosphere with water colour, acrylic and oil paints. Drawing inspiration, as always, from the vast wilderness that surrounds him.
