The uniqueness of the West Coast Art of Vancouver Island and cultural experience bring many visitors through our doors. Many of those visitors have become long time patrons and collectors supporting and appreciating of our local artists and craft persons.

Our Prices

Reflecting Spirit Gallery Inc. is a consignment Art Gallery.  That means we sell on the artist’s behalf and the artist holds ownership as well as the copyrights to each individual piece. The retail/selling price is established by the artist and in accordance to the market value of their artwork. The pricing ensures that each artist receives due value for their workmanship, experience and materials in today’s market. For this reason we do not offer discounts. This ensures the artist receives full financial recognition.

 If an item ordered is not available at the price posted on this web site. We will notify you of the correct price before filling the order. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will do our best to keep current with the updating of our gallery products. PRICE, AVAILABILITY and INFORMATION are SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.

All prices are in Canadian funds

All prices listed on Reflecting Spirit Gallery Inc. web site are subject to additional applicable taxes.

Our Products

The artwork we sell is unique, original and hand made by First Nations and Non-native Artists from Tofino, Ucluelet, Vancouver Island and the surrounding Gulf Islands.
Variations in medium such as colour, design, shape and sizes will be seen on similar pieces due to the nature of being individually hand crafted, artist created art pieces.

Art Work Commissions

If an original art piece is no longer available and you would like a similar piece, or a piece in a different size or you are looking for that something unique. Please call or e-mail us about requesting a commission for one of our artists. 

A non refundable down payment will be requested before the commission is begun.

Availability

We carry many one of a kind original art pieces.  We cannot guarantee availability of all pieces at your time of ordering.  If an item is not available we will send you an e-mail. Commissions of art work and a re-order of a particular art piece may be available depending on the artist and the type of art work.  If not, we would love to show you alternative and comparative pieces.

Website updates will be done to our best availability. With daily purchases of artworks through our two on site Galleries as well as our online gallery; it may not always be possible to ensure availability.

Discount Policy

Reflecting Spirit Gallery Inc. is a consignment gallery. The gallery artists set the retail price of their original handcrafted artworks.  Discounts are not offered in fairness to all of our customers. Our artists independently do not reduce the market price for a private sale as they are committed to supporting the gallery and paying a percentage of all personal sales towards their own operating costs such as materials, rent, utilizes, wages and marketing.

Taxes and Fees

Reflecting Spirit Gallery Inc. is responsible for collecting and remitting all Federal and Provincial taxes where applicable, on sales made within Canada. We do not charge Federal or Provincial taxes on Artwork purchased and shipped outside of Canada. When purchasing an item through our gallery, the customer is responsible for all charges that will apply when importing that item into their country.

Return Policy

ALL RETURNS MUST BE AUTHORIZED BY GALLERY PERSONNEL PRIOR TO RETURNING ANY ITEM.

The customer pays all related shipping costs.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from us, you may return the item within 10 days from the date of purchase (no exceptions) to the Reflecting Spirit Gallery Inc. in Ucluelet  by mail ( see address below). Upon receipt of undamaged goods, we will provide you with a credit voucher in the form of a reflecting Spirit Gallery Inc. Gift Certificate valid for one year from your original purchase date.


RETURN PROCEDURE

Return by Mail; enclose
A copy of your Reflecting Spirit Gallery Inc. receipt, retain your original receipt.
                                             

  • Items being returned must be in original condition and original packaging.
  • Original shipping and handling charges are non refundable.
  • Customer is always responsible for all shipping costs associated with and the returning of the item.

When a shipping return is from outside of Canada;  write  

  1. “Item Returned for Exchange” on the declaration of shipping form.
  2. ”No Value” or $0.00 on form

Order Cancellation

There is a 24 hour cancellation period from your initial placing of the order. Please e-mail your cancellation request to orderdesk@reflectingspirit.ca

Gift Certificates

A wonderful way of giving that perfect gift is with a Reflecting Spirit Gallery Inc. Gift Certificate.
Gift Certificates are valid for one year.

Interest Free Layaway

Reflecting Spirit Gallery offers an interest free in store layaway plan.          Layaway Terms are as follows: 

* All payments are non-refundable                                                                           * 50% down payment is required to hold item(s) for 'layaway'                                    * Remaining balance is payable in a 3-12 month payment plan                                  * All items purchased on 'layaway' remain on the gallery premises until full and final payment has been recieved.                                                                  *Written credit card authorization is required for monthly payment charges according to the 'layaway' plan

DOWNLOAD and PRINT out 'LAYAWAY PURCHASE AGREEMENT' complete form, sign and send via fax

With completion of the Reflecting Spirit Gallery Inc. 'layaway Purchase Agreement' and a customer's written authorization for the 'agreed upon' monthly payments, Reflecting Spirit gallery Inc. will automatically debit this amount from the customer's credit card, until the balance is paid in full. If the customer wishes, the balance may be paid sooner than the term specified on the purchase agreement. The gallery will hold the artwork until all payments have been completed. Shipping of your artwork will be arranged at that time. All layaway payments are non-refundable.
