Bio
Born on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Frank Armich from a young age developed a keen attraction to the inherent beauty of local woods. As a young apprentice in his father's business of producing burl wood furniture and clocks, Frank quickly acquired the skills necessary to work with local Island woods such as;
Bird's Eye Maple, Red and Yellow Cedar, Fir.
Today, Frank creates a wide range of artistic sculptures such as decorative mystical trees, wall mirrors, wall sculpture, bowls and furniture.
Each sculptured piece is hand carved and sanded, bringing to life the earthy resonance and illuminate the unique beauty of the wood grain.
