Tina Holden
Tofino, British Columbia, Canada
Tina Holden's creativity started at an early age. At the age of three, Tina tried to mimic her mother, a seamstress, by cutting into the family's prized heirloom tablecloth.
In the late 1980's, Tina's skillful sewing, knitting and crocheting evolved and translated into unique art creations of bead, wire and polymer clay jewelry.
Tina's jewerly is recognized by her unique one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces created from recycled glass, semi precious stones, beads, resin and polymer clay. Tina weaves, knits and crochets jeweller grade wire with beads, glass and gemstone into designer necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Her clay imitation beach pebbles can fool the naked eye, but make wearing them a light-weight joy. Mystical dragonflies are made from glass beads or molded from fractured and linked gold leaf on polymer clay, all created to adorn.
Bill Holden, Tina's husband and partner of more than 30 years is an established resin artist himself. Bill is known for his 'Piece of my Heart' pendants, Woolly Mammoth Tusk necklaces and Inlaid Antler pieces.
Tina and Bill love living and creating in Tofino, in beautiful Clayoquot Sound on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
