Vanishing Point
The simplicity of flat two dimensional patterns depicted in this painting creates a third dimension of space and perspective with the use of a vanishing point. The patterns, the artists calls critters (symbolically a horse with a rider) have a fractal beginning with a circle, the circle then is repeated, each time being reduced by .618. This forms a spiral. The image of the critter is made up of the spaces in between.
