One of kind sculpture  by Vancouver Island artist Kris Walker depicts a pregnant mermaid sitting on a piece of driftwood anticipating the birth to come. Recycled fabric, fabric hardener, and natural driftwood combine in this mixed media sculpture that celebrates the simple things in life.
