Observing real feathers as an inspiration and model, Ucluelet BC wood carver Peter Lewadnuk carves majestic eagle feathers in western red cedar. The hand carved detail and texture can be seem on both sides. A driftwood stand base gracefully supports the three dimentional feather sculpture. Each feather has a lacquer finish, protecting the wood from drying and obsorbing moisture.
