Bald Eagle is carved in British Columbia green marble with white flecks and is flying over a stylized mountain carved in British Columbia black marble.

"This green marble is the only stone I know of aside from British Columbia Jade that can be carved thin enough to allow light to pass through it without breaking the stone, But too hard on the nerves to repeat, it is a one off" - Jeff Edwards -

This piece is best placed near a light source to appreciate the transparency and thinness of the carving allowing the light to come through.
