Long Beach

This image was photographed near the Wickaninnish Restaurant on Wickanninish Beach in the Pacific Rim Park Reserve, situated between Tofino and Ucluelet on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

This standing piece of driftwood is caught in the beauty of a west coast sunset. It has been able to stay in position on this beautiful long sandy beach, even when much of the wood around it comes and goes, shifting with the tide.
