This unique perspective of a bald eagle is hand carved by Metchosin, BC wood sculptor Norm Moyen. Carved in spruce wood, the piece is finished by burning and brushing which enhances the natural wood grain and give the eagle a natural black colouring. The head is re-carved with a feather texture creating contrast by exposing the natural unburned spruce wood.
