Norm Moyen and his wife have seen many grey whales while whale watching in Ucluelet, BC. Hand carved from red cedar, the natural character of the wood is drawn out by wood burning the wood after carving and brushing it to highlight the high and low textures of the grain. This relief carving can be hung in the position of diving, surfacing, or swimming horizontally. It is an ocean themed carved sculpture to display with any decor, in home, office, or business.
