"The strength of the ocean is something to behold with great respect. One of my favorite  beaches is the scenic Florencial Bay. It is in the Pacific Rim Park Reserve, half way between Ucluelet and Tofino on Vancouver island.

On this day the dramatic waves where breaking with a thundering sound along the sandy beach. The undertow was strong, sucking the water of the previous wave back into the ocean, to where the out going water and up-turned sand meet the next incoming wave . In the wake of this dramatic energy lay a beautiful reflective mirror of freshly wet sand reflecting back the stillness of the sky at dusk." - Signy Cohen -
