A jewelry box with a BIG WOW, a true gem of the forest. This large wood burl box features the natural burl formations and the rich figured maple patterns. It has taken years for this burl to grow to this size and beauty. It is a mega-jewelery box like no other.

The interior is 18 1/2" in length x 8 3/4' to 10 1/2" in width x 4 1/4" deep with natural wood interior sides.

There are four removable trays: two 3/4" deep trays, one with 12 small compartments suitable for rings and earrings, the other with five long narrow compartments (four 9" long, one 7" long). The next two trays are 1 1/2" deep. One tray has three large compartments and the other has four. The floor is covered in a brown faux fur lining with an open space of 1 1/2" high at the bottom of the box.

The underside has a leather covering for furniture protection.

This is the largest of a family of boxes. Wood worker Robert Andrews uses the cutout interior pieces of each box to make a family of boxes in diminishing sizes. Box titled Maple Burl Jewelry Box 120-78t is from this family.
