Hand carved and stained yellow cedar Standing Bear with abalone shell inlaid on the head, the shoulder and the hip, carved by Snanawas Nation Master Carver, Brian Bob. Brian's inspiration for this carving comes from the Black Bear and his belief in the Circular Way of Life. All is connected and in the Circle of Connectedness, he believes that we become 'One with the Creator and One with all living things.
