" I decided to focus on the mythology of Sirens for this artwork. The beautiful yet very dangerous creatures who lure sailors onto the rocks causing at times their demise.

In this artwork she is perched in her watery domain on one of the long sunk shipwrecks, the watchful temptress,  amongst a variety of sea life that has over time overtaken this wreck as their new home."  - Shannon McWhinney -
