"Wolves inhabit western Vancouver Island and I am a lucky person every March to see frequent sittings outside my window in March. They are so elusive, lithe, and almost haunting to watch how they tiptoe as they trot. This pack of wolves occasionally has a pure black one. I caught a picture as it poked it's head out of the salmon berry branches in early morning light casting a red glow in the eyes."
