Sea Lions is a hand printed relief block cut print by Ucluelet print-maker Allison Tremain. Constantly inspired by the beauty surrounding the Western Coast of Vancouver Island, Allison translated to this print the cacophony of the blubbery masses of sea lions bathing on the rocks. Using a strong color palette and sharp carving strokes allows the artist to depict the dark mood and the noise of invading their territory.
